Womens Health and Well-Being Continuing Pharmacy Education Program
By GMDC Educational Foundation. The intended audiences for this program are pharmacists working in the community setting, pharmacy technicians and other health professionals who work closely with community practice pharmacists, and other key personal interested in incorporating the concepts of Women's Health and Well-Being into their retail setting. Women's Health and Well-Being flows directly from the concepts of whole health. It engages the customer's many different needs and involves the total store environment. Whole health is emerging as a major component of a comprehensive approach to pharmaceutical care and is one of the most important trends impacting consumers and retailers. Women's Health and Well-Being takes a sharper focus on whole health by concentrating squarely on female customers, who account for over three-fourths of all retail shoppers. Women typically control the health care decisions in their families and are a critical link in maintaining effective customer care. Continuing education credit is available.
